Who is this application for?
This application is for the VZ category foreign nationals of Surinamese origin applying for fixed-term residence. The VZ overview page mentions a maximum duration of two years.
What do you need?
- Request form and, where applicable, the minor-children information form
- Passport: holder page plus all annotated/stamped pages
- Legalised birth certificate and civil-status documents
- Proof of means of support
As proof of means of support, the VZ list mentions among others: employment, a business or shop licence, a business without licence obligation, pension, remigrant documents and, where applicable, an internship agreement.
Are you a remigrant?
For remigrants, the recovered VZ list additionally mentions: a receipt confirmation from the Social Insurance Bank, an identity document of the authorised representative and a power-of-attorney form for persons still abroad.
How do you submit the application?
According to the old VZ instructions, you will immediately see a registration confirmation on screen, receive an e-mail within 24 hours and be asked to respond to that confirmation e-mail within 48 hours. To be confirmed by VZ
