What is this application?
This VZ route is intended for foreign nationals of Surinamese origin who wish to obtain Surinamese nationality.
What do you need?
- Valid residence permits covering the past five years, or an establishment permit
- Request form and, where applicable, the minor-children form
- Passport
- Legalised birth certificate and civil-status documents
- CBB registration declaration with registration start date and number/date of the valid residence permit (according to the old PDF valid for six months)
- Proof of means of support as stated by VZ
Other recovered parts of the document mention health insurance, a fee of SRD 200 and a declaration of net income. The exact applicability and currency of these will be confirmed before publication. To be confirmed by VZ

What happens after submission?
According to the old VZ instructions, you will immediately see a registration confirmation on screen, receive an e-mail within 24 hours and be asked to respond to that confirmation e-mail within 48 hours. To be confirmed by VZ
