What is this application?
This application is for the VZ category other foreign nationals who wish to obtain Surinamese nationality through naturalisation.
What do you need?
- Valid residence permits covering the past five years, or an establishment permit
- Request form and, where applicable, the minor-children form
- Passport
- Legalised birth certificate and civil-status documents
- CBB registration declaration with registration start date and number/date of the current permit (according to the old source valid for six months)
- Proof of means of support as stated in the VZ PDF
According to the source, the permit must have three stamps: from the Vreemdelingendienst, the CBB head office and the CBB district office.

What happens after submission?
