Who is this application for?
Do you already have a residence permit and wish to extend your residence? According to VZ, this application can only be submitted by foreign nationals who already hold a residence permit.
What do you need?
- Request form (and where relevant the minor-children form)
- Passport: holder page and the annotated/stamped pages
- The most recently granted residence permit
- Civil-status documents
- CBB registration declaration, not older than six months at submission
- Proof of means of support
According to the source, the most recently granted residence permit must have three stamps: the stamp of the Vreemdelingendienst, the stamp of the CBB head office and the stamp of the CBB district office.
Examples of proof of means of support are: an employer's statement (employment), a work permit, a business or shop licence, proof of a business without licence obligation, pension or an internship agreement. See Means of support and guarantee.
How do you submit the application?
According to the old VZ instructions, you will immediately see a registration confirmation on screen, receive an e-mail within 24 hours and be asked to respond to that confirmation e-mail within 48 hours. To be confirmed by VZ
